017 : Marathon Training : Week 75 :

Marathon training posts on the other blog and on this blog...

This week, I had plans to go out of town and was going to run only two days, keeping them at 5 miles (whereas I usually start the week with a short run) and then also, next week, doing the same thing, to maintain mileage while I took this break. But one day, I just didn't sleep well and was tired when I woke, and I took almost the whole week off. I'm not at all worried. I'm actually really confident in my abilities and not concerned that taking a break will affect my overall goals.

Not much more to say than that. I'm clearly not the kind of person who will go to great lengths to push herself. Truthfully, I don't want to be that kind of person. When I meet those people and hear their stories, I never can relate, nor do I think they make great decisions. So, I take it easy on myself...which is fine, since life never really does the same!



  1. Same here. I would LIKE a flatter stomach, but I really don't feel like going to those great lengths to push myself. Plus, I really like eating sweets too much.
