083 : KENNYWOOD!

This past Labor Day Monday, I was in Pittsburgh, PA, visiting Kennywood, the best amusement park in the entire country. It was awesome, as usual. Kennywood used to be a haven for classic rides, less emphasis on thrill, and more emphasis on family fun. Two years ago, it was bought by a Spanish company, and I can see the changes. I haven't been there in a few years, and I was disappointed to see that three classic or older circular rides were removed for newer circular rides that aren't great. Older rides had flavor and very specific movement that made them each unique. The newer rides are not only a lot of the same but also available at every fucking park in the damn nation. There was also a new coaster which took up an old car ride, but the coaster was well designed and very enjoyable. I hope that these changes don't continue and take over the entire park.
