119 : Just a fucking awful day preceded by an awful week...

Last week was all about being thoroughly dressed down at work and receiving conflicting messages about my behavior, losing a friend, losing a potential more than friend and general suckery. Today did not really make me think this week would fair any better.

It was my day off, but I was up early for a 9 mile run. This was actually good, and the weather was nice. I cleaned my room and fell asleep on the couch, which was actually not good, because I had work to do. Mom woke me up and we went to see the worst movie. Prisoners takes about an hour and a half too long to tell a convoluted story with a sad ending all the while being disgustingly violent in a gratuitous way. Just before the movie, I received an e-mail from an ex-friend, telling me... Oh man, telling me I ruined her entire wedding, being my friend sucks and has made the last 2.5 years hell, and that I am completely unaware of how my awful behavior affects everyone around me. (Kind of similar to what I heard at work last week.) It was a DELIGHTFUL e-mail! So when I came home, I promptly sent off a few e-mails that ended all of that drama and mess!

Then I had a fabulous senior portrait shoot in the currently closed Virginia Kendall section of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. First, as I'm leaving the subject's house, I hit the telephone pole next to her driveway and scrape the shit out of car and knock my tires out of alignment. It's a common thing, and everyone who has cars at her house has dents in the same place. I get pulled over for speeding on our way to the park. (I mean, not much to say other than, I was speeding.) The actual shoot was really great, but then we got lost in the woods for an hour and a half, trying to find our way back to the car!

So I came home and decided that life was too fucking short and awful to deny friendship to those who deserve it, so I texted that guy, but he is not ready to be friends yet. He wants to be friends, but he's not ready. So I told him that's fine, text me whenever. Meanwhile, my awesome friend, Heather, engaged me in some really awesome texts that helped me feel so much better...until I found out that my lunch date tomorrow is cancelled, due to him being in Cincinnati because his cousin was in a car wreck and broke her neck.

Ok, life can fuck off any time now. But here are some pretty pictures!
