Kelly is branching out and trying new things and so I offered for her to come be my assistant for no pay!!! (I normally pay my assistants, but I wasn't making anything on this wedding anyway.) Kelly was in for the no-pressure, learning experience. I hope she really enjoyed herself and learned a ton. The bride loves a bunch of her shots, and so do I. She did just what I needed, filled in a couple of holes.
Before Kelly and I were off to the wedding, she photographed me and Adam. Again, part learning experience. Adam and I had no expectations from the shoot and so there wasn't any pressure for her. It was fun. I bought a new dress and had freshly dyed hair! It was fun, and I really love the pictures she took. Some day, when I get my shit together, I'm going to frame a few and hang them in my room!
So basically, wedding with best friends (bride and maid of honor are twins and one bridesmaid was a roommate in college) plus meeting Kelly plus lots of photographing = really fun. And Kelly's husband, Omar, took Adam out to a movie so he wasn't totally alone for all of the entire day. Orlando was a day of mostly work that felt like fun and was definitely packed from start to finish.
*All photos in this post, EXCLUDING the ones that feature me, with the pink hair, were taken by me!!!*
