Recent Work : Jen and Paige

Ahhh...my definition of "recent" is you know, like, "within the last 365 days"!! So anyway, Paige and Jen are friends of mine. Jen is the blonde and the mom, Paige is the green-haired girl and her daughter. You'll see more of Paige in the future, or wait, have I shown her already? Nope, I haven't. Which means, you'll see more of Paige in the future..hopefully the actual near future. So again, anyway, they wanted me to do their family portraits for Christmas gifts for the family, and of course, I was totally in. For starters, I had already photographed both of them and also, they are both super cool and totally into whatever ideas I have. When I was out on this trail earlier in the fall and saw the destruction from flooding the previous spring, I just knew that broke down bridge and the fallen tree were the spot! I had no idea I'd be in for head stands! But they knew there'd be hair tossing.

  2. I love these portraits! What a fun shoot! The husband and I need to get photos taken this fall because we haven't done it since our wedding, and I want something fun - I don't want typical...something like these that show our personalities and spirit.

Thanks for joining us for Photo Friday this week!
